As a direct entry, institute of higher education, we offer a range of entry opportunities as part of our commitment to values of student centricity and holistic approach to everything we do.

Endeavour College's admissions processes are applied fairly and openly, with the key measure being your passion and capacity to succeed in your chosen course and career.

Whilst there are admissions criteria that all successful applicants must meet, it is applied consistently across all campus locations and study modes. Any course-specific criteria is outlined within our Inherent Course Requirements.

To gain entry to an accredited undergraduate course at Endeavour College, applicants must satisfy the general requirements and other entry requirements (by type of background) as outlined below.

Applicant Background Entry Requirements
Applicants with higher education study
  • A completed higher education qualification at AQF level 5 (diploma) or above, or equivalent, from an Australian University or another accredited higher education provider OR
  • Successful completion of at least 1 semester of an AQF level 6 (Associate Degree) or above, or equivalent, from an Australian University or another accredited higher education provider OR
  • Successful completion of a Tertiary Preparation or University Bridging course. (Evidence required in the form of academic transcript)

Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study
  • A completed vocational education qualification at AQF level 4 (Certificate IV) or above, or equivalent, from a registered training organisation (RTO) OR
  • Successful completion of at least 1 study period of an AQF level 5 (Diploma) or above, or equivalent, at a registered training organisation (RTO)

Applicants with work and life experience

Demonstrated ability to undertake study at the required level:

  • broadly relevant work experience (documented e.g. CV), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; OR
  • formal, informal or non-formal study, completed or partially completed, demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success; OR
  • written submission to demonstrate reasonable prospect of success.

NOTE: If Year 12 is your highest level of previous study, completed more than two years prior, you may be requested to supply evidence of this completion also.

Applicants with recent secondary education (within the past two years) with ATAR or equivalent (for applicants who will be selected wholly or partly on the basis of ATAR)

Year 12 or equivalent completed within the past two years and able to meet the requirement of all applicants as outlined below (no specific ATAR requirement for these courses).

English Language Requirements
(all applicants with English as an additional language)

Prospective students with English as an additional language may be required to provide evidence of English testing, achieving a result at least equivalent to the below:

Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture Therapies), Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine), Diploma of Health Science (Chinese Remedial Massage) and postgraduate qualifications

  • IELTS 7.0 (no sub score less than 6.5)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE 185-190, no sub score less than 176)
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic Score of 65 (overall score, with a communicative skills score in writing 58 or above)
  • Internet based (iBT) TOEFL score of 100 (with a minimum of 24 or above in writing).

All other Bachelor degrees and Undergraduate Certificates (other than Human Biology)

  • IELTS 6.5 (overall score – no sub score less than 6.0)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE 176-184)
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic Score of 59 (overall score)
  • Paper based (PBT) TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 577
  • Internet based (iBT) TOEFL score of 90.

Diploma of Health Science and Undergraduate Certificate in Human Biology

  • IELTS 6.0 (overall score – no sub score less than 5.5)
  • Cambridge English: First (FCE 169-175)
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic Score of 52 (overall score)
  • Paper based (PBT) TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 537
  • Internet based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79.
General Requirements - ALL APPLICANTS

All domestic applicants, regardless of background, must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be willing to attend an admissions interview upon submission of enrolment paperwork (in person or via teleconference / Teams / Zoom)
  • Must be 18 years of age within the first period of study
  • Must meet self-declared minimum computer literacy standards and have unrestricted access to the internet and a personal email account
  • Must read and understand the Inherent Course Requirements (where relevant) for the course into which they are seeking admission and accept them prior to enrolment in the course
