“After studying commerce and finance, I spent 12 years in the corporate marketing and management world for large, well-known brands. I worked hard, and it got to a point where I burnt out, and I was looking for my purpose,” Vicki said. “I was always drawn to alternative and natural health, but in Malaysia, the traditional medicines are not regulated like in Australia.”

“When we moved here, I saw a naturopath through the recommendation of a friend. I was very intrigued. As I started to ponder on my options, I came across a radio ad for an Endeavour Open Day. I took it as a sign, so I went along, and a new chapter of my life began. I chose to study Naturopathy over the other disciplines, as I wanted to work with herbs, supplements, food and lifestyle – it was more holistic.”

“Going back to study was tough– my brain wasn’t wired for it! The biggest challenge was finding the time to study. The only space I had was in the evenings, and that required a lot of organisation with my family and part-time work as a personal trainer. After that first semester, it got easier to manage. I called on my life experience, project management and time management skills to help me prioritise and organise.”

While Vicki was studying, they realised her son, who was about three, had sensory processing disorder. A kinesiologist helped the family understand the disorder and helped them manage his health. “I was curious and started to see the Kinesiology myself and saw shifts in my life. I decided to learn about Kinesiology alongside Naturopathy.”

“When I had completed my Kinesiology studies, the clinic offered me space to work with them, and I jumped at the chance. Hence, I decided to put my Naturopathy studies on hold to focus on building my business, Intuitive Quantum Healing. I started in the middle of COVID-19 lockdown, which challenged me to conduct remote healing. Almost 80 per cent of my clients were overseas at that point, but once the restrictions lifted, the in-person consultations boomed. However, I do still offer remote or distant healing for overseas or interstate clients.”

“Endeavour gave me a solid foundation in natural health and understanding of the human body and how to support my clients. I’m building on that strong foundation,” Vicki said. “As practitioners themselves, the Endeavour teachers and lecturers shared so much knowledge and experience with us. I often use my learnings from Endeavour in my work.”

“Quantum is potential energy. Through the alignment of your heart, you access the untapped potential. I have seen this in my life and the lives of my clients, and now accept that life will take me where I need to go when I follow my heart.”
